On the 2nd and 3rd of April this year there was a COMMIT community meeting at which all COMMIT projects (and the roughly 250 people working on them) were present. I was asked to give a three minute pitch during the first day of the event. In my talk I tried to make a case for studying mediated social touch in remote communication, and presented some of our work (such as the TaSST) in this area.
