Conference

  • I did not advertise this very broadly, mainly because I wanted to be selective about the attendance to this first meeting, but on the 3rd of July I organized the 1st Dutch meeting on the study of social and affective touch. Having worked on social touch technology for the past three years, I have spoken to…

  • Just as two years ago we will be organizing a workshop focussing on affective touch (see the website). Compared to the previous edition of the workshop (MeTA’13) we have chosen a wider scope this time, to allow researchers from diverse disciplines to submit their work and ideas. Full call for papers after the break!

The conference was held at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, which just moved to an amazing new building, located close to King’s Cross Station. Together with Marco van Hout I organized a pre-conference workshop titled “A Digital Love…

On the 11th of September I’ll be running a workshop entitled “A digital love story: Measuring and designing for emotions in interactive visual interfaces” together with Marco van Hout. Hope to see you there!
